The way it was – 1953.
With a few exceptions*, located deep within the archives of the Pennsylvania State Library (Harrisburg, PA) are mircofilmed copies of Sharon Heralds printed since May 3,1878. Once a month or so, one of the reunion committee members visits the library (usually the 2nd Saturday of the month) to gather material that might be of interest to class members. If you have a specific date in 1953 (or otherwise) that might be relevant to you please let us know and we’ll try to post the headlines and other snippets as requested from that day below.
